During the first part of the thesis year at California College of the Arts, there were a series of exercises exploring design restrictions as focusing obstructions. Since my topic was experimental sound at the outset, the set is a collaboration with other students and friends who do not have extensive music training. A lemon was used to make a noise piece, and a strange bell-like recording made at a site-specific location was made by striking a railing with a mobile phone.
